I'm from Montana and my work brought me to Spokane Valley. One evening I noticed a nasty rotational growl coming from the front-end of my Silverado. Having been an auto technician and then service advisor in my younger years, I recognized I was nearing a catastrophic failure in my right front wheel bearing. Most shops are a week behind or more due to the industry technician shortage so I was preparing to have to leave the truck and rent a car to get home. Where I live, I have most of my work done at the dealership but found very mixed internet reviews on the one in Spokane Valley. Looking further, I found many positive reviews about Ray & Roy's and noted they're a second-generation shop so decided to call first thing at 7 am the next morning. When hearing my situation, Manager Shawn moved their busy schedule around and invited me to come at once. Fearing I may not make it across the Valley, he had two good towing companies a phone call away if needed. Fortunately, I was able to limp into the shop., where Shawn offered coffee, gave me their Wi-Fi password, and turned the heat up in the waiting area. Their technician quickly confirmed the problem was a wheel bearing failure and Shawn reviewed my options for either an American or Chinese-built hub assembly. I was back on the road in a couple of hours and at a fair price! I heartily recommend this business!

Let me tell you this, I’ve been to at least 7 shops before I found Ray & Roy’s had terrible luck till I found this shop!! Everything they have fixed on my van has been excellent! No more oil leaks etc. Shaun is absolutely the best& most knowledgeable service manager I’ve ever met. I will never take any of my vehicles to any other shop, hands down, there honest to! I did an earlier review, and I have to say I was in error. I was very frustrated with problems with my car, and wrote the review before we had everything worked out. I had a P0016 error, and most likely something to do with timing. When they explained it to me, it was very clear, and will take more diagnostic work to get to the root of the problem. I will definitely bring the car back, when I am able to get the next steps done. They did a great job. It is hard working with a frustrated customer, and they did well. If you happened to read my earlier review, ignore it. It was not valid or accurate. 10 out of 5!

Ray & Roy's advertises their trained professionals will take care of your car repairs and maintenance and that their goal is to have Happy Customers. But we found their care reached far beyond the repair of a vehicle. We had a car towed to their shop that belongs to a family member with dementia. Shawn treated our family member with kindness and patience when explaining that the car was beyond repair, and maintained a courteous and helpful attitude throughout a difficult situation. He even called later to find out if we made it home in the barely driveable car. We will be taking our vehicles to this shop in the future. Thank you Shawn, from a Happy Customer.
